This workshop is part of the regional activities for the “Towards INMS” project. The project has a
global focus and aims to better understand reactive nitrogen issues, suggest relevant and effective
management options at global and regional level, and lead the way for a future science-policy
support process for nitrogen. Before the formal project start date of the INMS project, this
workshop aims to share the current state of research on nitrogen issues in East Asia and develop
collaborations among INMS members in China and Japan.
